Since commencement of its operation in June 1996, Tycon Builders Inc. has successfully completed many major contracts. Tycon Builders Inc. has exacted a controlled growth plan, to ensure our infrastructure and services are able to meet the needs of our clients. We take great pride in our focus on employee safety and quality control. We are prepared and able to provide both direct general contracting services, and sub-contracting services.

James P. Reid, President - Background and Qualifications

Mr. James P. Reid began his training as a craftsman in Ireland in 1986. Mr. Reid completed his advanced craft certification in carpentry and joinery, from the City and Guilds London Institute in June of 1989. During this time James then completed a three year apprenticeship. James performed work in both Ireland, London and Spain. While in London, James worked on such properties as the Metropole Hotel and Barclay De Zote Web/Stock Exchange. Additionally, James honed his skills as a custom carpenter working on smaller historical properties such as the Freemasons Arms in Convent Gardens. In 1992 James traveled to Barcelona, Spain, where he assisted with the Construction of the Hotel Olympia (The Olympic Hotel). Since arriving in the U.S. in 1993, James has worked on numerous projects such as residential custom homes (New and remodels); commercial properties; clean room facilities, restaurant & shopfront installation; and work/live lofts. Mr. Reid attained his General Contractors License in June of 1996 (#723987).
